Small Grass Fires Reported Alongside 101 Freeway In Tarzana

TARZANA (CBSLA.com) — A series of small grass fires have been reported alongside the Ventura (101) Freeway in Tarzana, firefighters said Sunday.

Brian Humphrey, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Fire Department, said the fires alongside the eastbound lanes of the freeway broke out between Lindley Avenue and Balboa Boulevard.

The fires were reported around 12:30 p.m.

So far, no structures have been threatened and no lanes were closed, according to Humphrey.

No further information was available.
