DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES - The coffee shops continue to come to Spring Street and the newest one is bringing a bit of Latin flavor to the brew.
Tierra Mia Coffee, a small coffee shop chain, opened a new spot at 653 S. Spring St. last week in the space that formerly housed the small Night Toast restaurant.
The coffee retailer and roaster serves up Latin specialties like horchata lattes, Mocha Mexicano, rice and beans frappe and mojito lemonade.
Tierra Mia is also a bakery and serves sweets like Tres Leches muffins and other pastries. Other Tierra Mia locations are in South Gate, Huntington Park, Santa Fe Springs and Pico Rivera.
