STUDIO CITY (CBS) — Wednesday will bring some low clouds out by the beach in the morning with patchy fog in some spots reducing visibility.
However, you don’t have to travel too far to break into the clear skies. The same weather features are in place Wednesday: a high pressure center over California, and a larger ridge of high pressure over the Heartland. This is keeping our inland areas warm and coastal communities cool. It is also keeping the monsoonal flow to the south and east of the metro area.
There is a chance for thunderstorms in the desert and mountains again. The atmosphere stabilzes somewhat Thursday so there will be less of a chance for incliment weather. Temperatures will cool slightly into Friday and Saturday then we warm up again next week as the high pressure in the heartland starts to spread out.
Beaches – low 70s
Basin -low 80s
Valleys – mid to upper 90s
Deserts – near 100
Mountains -low to mid 70s
