  • 7.25: Bradley Cooper's 'Elephant Man'

    This Wednesday, Bradley Cooper joins the <a href="http://www.nytimes.com/2012/07/22/theater/bradley-cooper-takes-on-the-elephant-man.html" target="_hplink">short line of attractive men who've played John Merrick</a>, the title character of the "Elephant Man." The sold-out stage production <a href="http://www.wtfestival.org/2012/elephant" target="_hplink">runs until Aug. 5</a> at the Williamstown Theatre Festival.

  • 7.27: 'Never Sorry'

    Alison Klayman's <a href="http://aiweiweineversorry.com/" target="_hplink">award-winning debut documentary "Never Sorry</a>" focuses on the celebrated and <a href="http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/07/20/ai-weiwei-tax-challenge_n_1688934.html" target="_hplink">beleagured life</a> of the Chinese dissident artist Ai Wei Wi. It opens in select theaters Friday.

  • 7.27: The Olympics

    Whether Michael Phelps will set a record this summer is yet to be seen, but already a few have been broken in the name of the games: on Friday, London will become the first city to host the Olympics three times, and NBC will start streaming<a href="http://www.suntimes.com/entertainment/television/13832975-421/nbc-plans-to-achieve-unprecedented-time-in-olympics-coverage.html" target="_hplink"> 2000 more hours of the spectacle</a> than the network ever has before.
